In Spring 2018 new General Data Protection Regulations agreed upon by the European Parliament and Council in April 2016 replaced the Data Protection directive 95/46/ec as the primary law regulating how personal data relating to European Citizens is protected.  In line with these regulations the Parish under the auspices of the Archdiocesan Trust must publish it’s own Privacy Notice outlining its arrangements for the management of personal information in Parishes.  This Privacy Notice can be found below.

“A lawyer, to disconcert Jesus, put a question , ‘Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?’  Jesus said, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the greatest and the first commandment.  The second resembles it: You must love your neighbour as yourself.  On these two hang the whole Law and the Prophets also’.

Matthew 22:35-40
